Ledgerly

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 2, 2026  ·  Delvir Limited Liability Company d/b/a Ledgerly

1. Who We Are

Delvir Limited Liability Company, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Ledgerly”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), operates the website at ledgerly.ceo and the Ledgerly bookkeeping application (the “Service”). Ledgerlyhelps you organize your own business and personal transactions into a clean ledger and tags expenses to a suggested Schedule C line. We are not a certified public accountant, tax preparer, enrolled agent, bookkeeper, or financial advisor, and we do not provide tax, accounting, legal, or financial advice.

This policy explains what we collect, where it is stored, who processes it, and the choices you have. For any privacy question, contact us at team@delvir.co.

2. The Service in Brief

You upload transaction exports (CSV files) from your bank or card — and, if you choose to connect an account, we receive transactions through our bank-connection provider. Ledgerly categorizes each transaction, reconciles transfers, and produces category and Schedule C summaries. Uploading and using the ledger is free; paid plans (where offered) add automatic bank sync. Categorization runs on our own servers using a deterministic rules engine — your transactions are not sent to any third-party artificial-intelligence or machine-learning service for analysis.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Account information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use your email address as your account identifier so your ledger, rules, and results are tied to you.

3.2 Financial transaction data

  • Uploaded exports — the CSV files you upload and the individual transactions parsed from them, stored with your account so you can revisit your ledger.
  • Derived records— the line type, spending category, and Schedule C tag we compute for each transaction, plus the category and tax-line summaries built from them.
  • Your rules — the keyword categorization rules you create.
  • Connected-account data (optional) — if you connect a financial account, we receive transaction and balance data for that account through our bank-connection provider, solely to keep your ledger current.

3.3 Payment information

Paid plans are processed entirely by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or bank details. We retain only Stripe’s customer and subscription identifiers and your billing status, so we can provide the plan you purchased and process any refund.

3.4 Card & financing matching (only if you opt in)

Our optional Cards & Financing feature is off by default. If you turn it on, we use your derived spending metrics and any details you choose to self-report — such as an estimated personal-credit tier and estimated annual revenue — to show card offers that may fit, and we record which offers you click. This is a separate, explicit opt-in, distinct from bookkeeping. We never pull your credit, and self-reported figures are never verified. You can turn this off at any time.

3.5 Consent records

When you accept our Terms — for example when subscribing to a paid plan — we record your acceptance, including the timestamp and the version of the Terms then in effect, so the agreement you accepted can be reproduced in the event of a payment dispute.

3.6 Information collected automatically

  • Usage & log data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps), retained for a limited period for security and debugging.
  • Session cookies — a secure, HTTP-only authentication cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

4. Where Your Data Is Stored & Who Processes It

Your data is stored and processed in the United States by the following providers, each contractually bound to use it only to provide services to us:

  • Neon — our application database (account, transactions, ledger, and rules).
  • Vercel — application hosting and infrastructure.
  • Stripe — subscription payment processing.
  • Google — sign-in (OAuth) only.
  • Resend — transactional and service email (for example, account notices and periodic “time to upload your latest statement” reminders).
  • Plaid (only if you connect an account) — secure bank-account connection and transaction retrieval.

Categorization is performed by our own deterministic software; your transaction data is not shared with any third-party AI model or data broker.

5. How We Use Your Information

  • Categorize your transactions, build your ledger, and generate category and Schedule C summaries
  • Keep your ledger current when you upload files or connect an account
  • Operate your account and provide the paid plan you subscribe to
  • Process payments and any refunds
  • Send transactional and service notifications, including periodic reminders to upload your latest statement
  • Provide support and respond to your requests
  • If you opt in to Cards & Financing, show card offers that may fit and record referral clicks
  • Detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and secure the Service
  • Establish proof of your agreement to the Terms and defend against fraudulent chargebacks
  • Comply with applicable law and legal process

We do not use your financial data for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell your personal information.

6. How We Share Your Information

We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — the processors listed in Section 4, solely to operate the Service.
  • Card referrals (only if you opt in and act)— when you choose to prequalify or apply for a card offer, we pass a referral identifier to that card’s issuer or affiliate network so your referral can be attributed. We share only what is needed to make the referral; we do not sell your data to them.
  • Payment dispute evidence — if you initiate a chargeback, we may share your consent and payment records with Stripe, your bank, and the card networks as evidence.
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Delvir Limited Liability Company, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers — if Delvir Limited Liability Company is acquired or merged, your information may transfer as part of that transaction; we will notify you first.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

7. Cards & Financing Referrals

Where the optional Cards & Financing feature is available and you opt in, offers shown are prequalification estimates based on your own data, not offers of credit or guarantees of approval. Only the card issuer decides whether to approve you and on what terms. We are not a lender, bank, broker, or credit-repair organization, and nothing in the feature is financial or credit advice. We may earn a referral commission if you are approved for a card through our links, at no cost to you; this does not change the estimates we show. You can turn the feature off at any time.

8. Data Retention

  • Ledger & transaction records — retained while your account is active so you have a complete history for your records. Uploading a new file adds to your history; we do not delete prior transactions. You may request deletion at any time.
  • Payment & consent records — retained as required to meet financial-record obligations and to defend against payment disputes.
  • Server logs — retained for a limited period.

9. Security

We protect your data with industry-standard measures: encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), secure HTTP-only session cookies, access controls, secrets kept server-side and never exposed to the browser, and rate limiting on sensitive endpoints. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

To report a security issue, email team@delvir.co.

10. Your Rights

You may request to:

  • Know / access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your account and associated data (except records we must retain by law)
  • Export a machine-readable copy of your data

We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email team@delvir.co from your account email address; we will respond within 30 days. Service and transactional messages tied to your account cannot be opted out of while the account is active.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn a minor has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.

12. Third-Party Links

The Service may link to third-party sites, including card issuers and their affiliate networks. This policy does not cover those sites; review their privacy policies before using them.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or a prominent notice on the Service before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
